Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role at CoLearn in Jakarta. This role will be responsible for team management, team leadership, engineering management, project management, and software development on a daily basis.

What You Will Do?

You will have a significant impact on EdTech by contributing to an organization dedicated to improving Indonesia's PISA rankings by making education accessible to all economic classes. Your responsibilities will include managing systems that handle 5,000 to 20,000 requests per second and millions of requests daily, as well as building and leading a team of backend, frontend, and mobile engineers.

• Salary: ~$8,000 per month, plus insurance benefits and generous leave policies

What Is Expected of You?

Must-Have Skills:

• Ruby on Rails - Must a minimum 3+ years.
• Team Leadership - Must a minimum 2+ years.
• PostgreSQL - Must a minimum 3+ years.
• Javascript/Typescript (familiarity with Express/TypeORM)
• Team Management and Team Leadership skills
• Engineering Management and Project Management experience
• Software Development expertise
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in the education or ed-tech industry is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Good-to-Have Skills:

• AWS (ECS Fargate, Amplify, S3, VPC, CDN)
• Next.js
• React Native, Android, iOS
