Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Fully Remote (BYOD)
Employment Type: Contract / Evening Job (Starting from 5pm)
Salary: N200,000 – N250,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to translate complex website requirements into engaging, user-friendly designs. In this role, you will start immediately working closely with stakeholders to understand goals, present design concepts for approval, and ensure final deliverables are ready for development. Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify website objectives, user needs, and business goals.
- Design Execution: Transform complex requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present design ideas, collect feedback, and iterate on solutions until approved.
- Development Collaboration: Work alongside developers to ensure smooth handoff and seamless design implementation.
- Usability Testing: Conduct user tests, incorporate findings, and refine designs for optimal user experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven background & demonstrable skill as a UI/UX Designer.
- Portfolio: Strong showcase of user-centered web design principles.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Figma or similar design tools.
- Design Knowledge: Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability principles.
- Communication: Excellent ability to liaise with stakeholders and present design concepts clearly.
- Independence: Comfortable managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of usability testing tools and methodologies.
