National Sales Director in LAS VEGAS METROPOLITAN AREA

On behalf of our client, a global provider of Automated Cocktail Dispensing Systems, we are seeking a National Director of Sales to oversee the entire sales organization and be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing comprehensive sales strategies across all food and beverage verticals, balancing long-term business goals and short-term deliverables. The National Director of Sales is seen as a critical component of the executive leadership team and will be a catalyst for directing and expanding a national sales force through direct hires and possible distributor channels. The chosen professional will lead and influence sales, category management, strategy and customers across the product verticals. This individual will utilize in-depth customer insights into growth opportunities for our customers and the company. By creating and leveraging category growth strategies, the National Director of Sales will provide a competitive advantage in delivering an improved understanding of market strategies and technological opportunities.


Job Location: this is an onsite role based in Las Vegas, NV with travel domestically as needed. Relocation assistance is available.


Key priorities:

  • Oversee all sales efforts. Hire, train and mentor key sales representatives to ensure maximum productivity and retention of the most qualified talent.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize strategies and results.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business growth.
  • Regularly assess and report on sales performance metrics and pipeline management.
  • Forecast, budget & manage sales pipelines. Analyze, create & present reports to management.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, including expansion into new regions or sectors.
  • Ensure a high level of collaboration between sales and other departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Create a culture of accountability for the sales team.
  • Develop plans to market and sell technology equipment in hospitality markets.
  • Set sales targets and develop actionable plans for the sales team to hit or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Participate in Customer Satisfaction Program to ensure continuing sound relationships with current and future customers.
  • Use product knowledge in conjunction with knowledge of customers’ project objectives to develop unique value propositions supported by financial impact analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Plan, manage and attend trade shows, conferences, meetings, and seminars to promote products and communicate the function and benefits of our products.
  • Correspond and meet with customers on all levels of positions.
  • Negotiate contracts for approval by managing partners.
  • Gather, research and provide competitive and market product information.


Experience & competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Highly regarded sales professional with a minimum of 7-10 years of successful sales and revenue growth experience including a significant leadership role.
  • Prior experience selling an engineered product line through a channel-based process. Industry experience within food and beverage is desirable but not required.
  • Proven track record training, building, motivating and retaining sales teams in a large national account environment.
  • Possessing exceptional communication skills, this individual will personify a confident, experienced, approachable and effective leader, capable of taking a fully functional business to the next level of growth and profitability.
  • Excellent strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales performance platforms (Zoho or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance data and metrics.
