The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to join us on a contract basis. This fully remote position offers flexibility, with hours ranging from 5-20 hours/week depending on project needs. As a Senior SEO Strategist, you'll collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with clients' business objectives and drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute tailored SEO strategies for B2B clients across local, national, and international markets.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits.
• Provide hands-on guidance for technical SEO, including site structure, mobile optimization, page speed, and on-page optimizations.
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to integrate SEO with broader marketing strategies.
• Provide insights and strategic recommendations to clients on SEO best practices.
• Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Support the sales process by conducting preliminary SEO audits and presenting SEO strategies to potential clients.
• Stay current on SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates to ensure cutting-edge strategies.

What You’ll Bring:

• 8-10 years of SEO experience, with a strong focus on B2B clients (technical/industrial sectors preferred).
• 3+ years working within a digital marketing agency environment.
• Expertise in technical SEO (site architecture, crawlability, page speed, schema markup, mobile optimization).
• Proven success in developing local, national, and international SEO strategies.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz.
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and content-driven SEO strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fully virtual team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with SMS programs or SQL querying is a plus.
• Marketo or similar certification is a plus, but not required.
