Senior Designer/Art Director in SOUTH AFRICA

The Kinetic is looking for senior designers and art directors with animation and motion design understanding to join our team. Job Title: Senior Designer/Art Director

Location: Johannesburg, Cape Town or Fully Remote

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Remuneration: 35k-50k a month (negotiable based on experience)

Key Role Requirements:

• Full conceptualisation, creation and design for motion specific projects, including treatment frames and storyboards
• Creative ownership of projects
• Independent and eager to create unique work 
• Creation of presentations that clearly explain the creative vision and technical requirements of projects
• Familiar with motion graphics workflow (No animation required)

Must haves:

• At least 5+ year experience in creative studio, agency, designing/art directing work specifically for motion graphics, animation and video
• Experience in the field of design for motion and animation
• A very good understanding of motion and timing
• A well rounded, excellent portfolio
• Skilled at Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Nice to haves

• Illustration skills
• Basic animation skills
