Performance Tester in MAINE METROPOLITAN AREA

Could you be a good fit? We are looking for the best, highly skilled Performance Tester to join the team of our exceptional client located in the greater Portland area. This is a fully remote role.

What will your day look like? As a Performance Tester you will:

• Execute and develop formal test plans, scenarios, and procedures for performance and manual testing to assess stability, reliability, and quality of applications. Assess and review test coverage to ensure thorough quality review.
• Perform application, non-functional, smoke, regression, and integration testing. Develop automated performance
• Track and document defects, test results, and other quality metrics. Enters issues and problems into system and participates in resolution.
• Implements and develops best practices and quality standards, contributing effort and ideas toward continuous improvement.

You will be a good fit for the Performance Tester role if you have:

• 2 plus years of experience in manual testing with a strong emphasis on performance testing
• Java, System, Cloud, and API/Services performance testing experience required.
• Experience writing test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and execute tests as well as assist with root-cause analysis. Able to perform defect management tasks and triage defects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
