Test Analyst in OHIO METROPOLITAN AREA

Our client, a leader in the utilities industry, is looking to hire a Test Analyst Lead. This is a fully remote role for candidates local to the Columbus, OH area.

As a Test Analyst Lead, you will be responsible for the creation of test plans across functional and technical test team members, develop test scenarios and test scripts, and ensure the proper resources - including technology, personnel, and processes - are set up in order to conduct manual testing and/or utilize automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and implement test plans, writing and maintaining test automation scripts using automation tools
• Develop quality assurance standards as well as define and track quality assurance metrics
• Work with the business lead to understand the end-to-end business process & identify test scenarios, ensuring proper traceability between test scripts and requirements
• Conduct regular defect meetings during testing in order to identify, clarify, and ultimately resolve defects, providing level testing metrics & reporting

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience in Test Analysis, using tools such as ALM Performance, Jira, and ServiceNow
• Prior experience in Automation Testing, leveraging UFT, Gherkin, Ruby, Jenkins, and/or Cucumber
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction & verify outcomes
• ITIL V3 or V4 highly valued
• Experience in the utility/ construction industry highly preferred!
