About the project:
For our client, a global leader in gaming, we seek a Senior Project Manager with exceptional skills in balancing strategic priorities and operational demands to oversee the successful delivery of both their portal and mobile app products. This is a pivotal role, sitting at the intersection of product roadmap planning and execution, ensuring that immediate delivery needs align seamlessly with long-term product evolution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects while safeguarding product priorities, optimizing resource allocation, and minimizing bottlenecks.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Project Planning and Execution: Align product roadmap priorities with project delivery timelines and objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with project leads to minimize bottlenecks and efficiently allocate resources to maximize productivity and meet project goals. Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary
- Budget Forecasting and Management: Manage project budgets, including forecasting costs and tracking expenditures
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as key liaison between project/account managers and internal teams to negotiate commitments, establish priorities, and ensure alignment
- Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. Safeguard the product roadmap by preventing disruption from unplanned delivery projects
- Documentation and Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and opportunities
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong background in project management (PMP or Agile certifications preferred)
- Proven experience in resource planning and cross-functional team management
- Business-oriented skills and at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Excel and Jira essential, Clarity and PowerBI nice to have)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinking with an ability to balance immediate demands and long-term goals
