As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power Myneflow’s applications. You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless and efficient digital experiences. This role is fully remote and requires advanced English proficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable backend architectures.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side logic using Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and/or Laravel.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and services that interact with frontend applications.
• Ensure data integrity and security while implementing business logic and features.
• Optimize application performance, focusing on speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to store and query data efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of high-quality software development.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and monitoring of services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and improve the backend tech stack with new tools and frameworks.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and/or Laravel.
• Hands-on experience building and integrating APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of database systems and query optimization (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Proficiency in Git for version control.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and/or PHP (Laravel).
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or similar tools.
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security best practices and web vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP).
