Chase Corporation, owned by top tier private equity firm KKR, is a leading mid-sized global manufacturer of protective specialty materials for high reliability applications, including high performance Industrial Coatings, Tapes, Adhesives and Sealants. Their products are sold into a wide range of industries, such as Electronics, Construction, Automotive, and Aerospace. The company is planning to double in size within the next three years and is re-building the organization to enable such growth. The Global Director Sales Operations, reporting to the VP Sales, is a newly created role tasked with building up a new team (initially 2 - 3 direct reports), systems, processes and tools which will drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Sales Enablement - provide the sales teams with the tools, resources, analytics, and training necessary to succeed
- Sales Forecasting - develop and maintain accurate sales forecasting models to predict revenue trends and inform business planning.
- Compensation Plans – design, implement and monitor compensation plans for inside and outside sales teams.
- CRM – maintain oversight of the CRM system (SFDC) to ensure accurate data capture as well as alignment with sales strategies and revenue goals.
- Commercial “Growth Room” - set and oversee execution of strategic commercial growth initiatives.
- Sales Process Improvements – develop and implement best practice sales processes and tools to enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales team.
- Data Analysis – conduct proactive in-depth data analysis to identify quantitative and qualitative trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Metrics & Reporting – design and track a recurring cadence of commercial metrics and key performance indicators / KPIs (pipeline, wins, orders, productivity, etc.)

Education & Experience
- Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 - 12 years of primarily commercial experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in a B2B manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Operations, implementing commercial best practices, processes, CRM and analytics in a B2B manufacturing environment. Specific industry experience is not required, we are looking for the best “athlete”.
- Proficiency in CRM (preferably Salesforce.com), Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
This role requires a hybrid office presence in Westwood, MA near Boston. Doing this role remotely with travel is not possible! Relocation support will be provided for the right candidate.
