The code you generate will ensure that autonomous vehicles follow their trajectory, assisted and manual driving interact seamlessly, active suspensions keep the car on the road in dynamic driving conditions, and much more.

Tasks

• Definition, coordination, and integration of cross-vehicle functional architectures, including bus communication.
• Conceptualization & development of functions for electrified drivetrains, controlled chassis, driver assistance systems, or comfort electronics.
• Model-based software development (MATLAB/Simulink, ASCET, or SCADE Suite…), automatic code generation using TargetLink or RTW Embedded Coder, and testing using static analysis.
• Automation of embedded software development workflows with tools in the context of Continuous Integration.
• Prototype implementation with Rapid Control Prototyping (e.g., ETAS, Microautobox, VECTOR tools…).
• Definition, documentation, and coordination of processes (e.g., SCRUM, SAFE…) for the development of innovative software-based vehicle functions.
• Agile, interdisciplinary collaboration between our departments and with customers, software vendors, and tool developers.
• Operational project and process management, such as preparing and participating in regular meetings, creating decision-making documents, maintaining existing tool wiki pages, process coordination, etc.

Qualifications

• Good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Successfully completed studies in engineering or related fields
• Good knowledge and practical experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Matlab, Java, Oracle SQL, VBA, XML
• Initial experience in model-based and/or embedded software development.
