For our Branding team, we are looking after a Associate Graphic Designer to work within the framework of a team and perform several design and coordination activities related to all our internal and external promotional materials. You have a strong desire to provide timely, responsive and quality service and a willingness to learn and undertake new tasks. As a Associate Graphic Designer, you are capable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing multiple deadlines and projects, as well as able to easily adapt to rapidly evolving situations.

You are based at the European office in Amersfoort and you report to the Team Lead Graphic Designer. You work together with various departments in the U.S. and Europe, such as Clinical Development and Field Implementation.

Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Associate Graphic Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise company product collateral using style guide, templates and branding guidelines
• Collaborate with graphic designers and management to implement effective product and company support materials
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final deliverable
• Participate in the review and critique of all projects within the team Incorporate fundamental design principles that affect typography, composition, color, use of space and hierarchy of information along with technical file specs according to standards
• Coordinate and implement multi-language translations into product and company support materials
• Ensure that brand and quality standards are consistently achieved
• Work with in-house printshop or vendors to trouble shoot production related printing problems or issues
• Understand and follow Applied Medical's Manufacturing's Quality Systems (QS) as per training

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent related Working Experience/Profile
• Proficient in artwork development and production processes
• Proficient in current Adobe CS applications (Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
