Cryptographer in EUROPEAN UNION

Senior Cryptographer - €100k - €150k + equity- EU based

Plexus has partnered with a pioneering blockchain platform that focusses on offering traceable solutions for supply chains. This is a remote-first position, with a preference for candidates located in Europe who can align with our time zone. However, candidates from any location will be considered.

You'll be responsible for driving technical excellence, building scalable and secure cryptographic solutions, and ensuring the successful development and implementation of cutting-edge encryption and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies.

Responsibilties:

• Lead from the front providing technical insights and development of the MVP that is ready to be built from the theoretical foundation.
• Drive the development and implementation of fully homomorphic encryption and ZKP technologies, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Stay on top of emerging cryptographic techniques and technologies, particularly in the ZKP domain, and evaluate their potential applicability to our projects.
• Communicate with other areas of the company and be able to translate technical concepts to more digestible wording for customers/stakeholders

Requirements:

• 2+ years of cryptography experience with experience in building production-grade solutions
• Great communication skills
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Python, and Typescript, with a preference for hands-on experience in building crypto systems.
• Maturity and critical thinking abilities, with a pragmatic mindset focused on delivering value and achieving MVP objectives.
• Customer-centric mindset, with a deep understanding of the why behind cryptographic solutions
