Software Engineer (Java+AWS) in NETHERLANDS

Each day at Realworks, we're actively developing new features for our 18,000 daily users. As we expand our teams, we're seeking individuals to join us! This opportunity places you within our Connected team, focusing on our API product. You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, upgrading and monitoring our AWS infrastructure, and automated deployments.

We are currently working on migrating our Kafka infrastructure from the on-premise cluster to Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK). However, your expertise extends beyond AWS. We seek someone deeply passionate about Java 17 development and proficient in utilizing frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot. We extensively use Kafka and Kafka-streams as the event bus and events processing solutions. Additionally, we rely on the Axon Framework for several projects as our event-sourcing platform.

In this role, you are responsible for:

- The complete Cloud environment;

- Creating APIs;

- A huge technical challenge;

- For a CRM package used daily by 18,000 users (brokers).

Your team:

In this exciting journey, you'll work in an agile environment in a self-managing team. You will be working with 4 other driven software engineers and 1 PO. We are a multicultural team, each with their own opinion.

Job Requirements:

Our job profile is not set in stone, but it would be nice if you have the following experience:

• You have a bachelor degree;
• Experience with AWS;
• Experience with Java programming;

It’s nice to have experience with Jenkins, Gradle, Docker and Kubernetes;

You are also:

• Results-oriented;

• Have a good knowledge of the English language;

• Curious and open to learning new technologies.
