This Series-A HealthTech Start Up is on a mission to build a future where distance and income never stand in the way of life-saving medicines. Their demand-aggregation platform connects healthcare providers across LMICs to unlock affordable access to medicines and empower manufacturers to develop sustainable access strategies globally.

Striving to remove barriers that patients and caregivers face in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) when seeking high-quality medicines and healthcare. Envisioning a world where everyone, regardless of geography or income, has access to essential medicines and healthcare when they need it.

We are seeking a driven, mission-oriented engineer to join our dynamic team of technology experts. Our team prioritizes customer focus, collaboration, and open communication, and we welcome technical professionals who are passionate about user needs and committed to achieving meaningful outcomes.

Our technology stack includes Django, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, deployed on AWS with infrastructure managed through Terraform.

As a Backend Engineer on our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing our DevOps and CI/CD solutions to streamline and optimize deployment processes.
  • Participating in infrastructure management (Terraform + AWS), provisioning instances as needed, and working with the team to ensure alignment and ongoing improvements.
  • Monitoring service performance and addressing issues as needed.
  • Implementing improvements based on team retrospectives to drive impactful changes in workflows.
  • Engaging in architectural discussions and contributing ideas to leverage cross-team opportunities with groups such as Data Engineering and AI.
  • Occasionally supporting updates to our corporate website.

Ideal candidates bring robust full-stack development experience, a user-focused approach to design, and a commitment to continuous platform improvement. Your technical insights and strategic decisions will play a crucial role in shaping our digital landscape and delivering exceptional experiences for our users.
