Your role at Exness:
Today, we're looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer who will join our strong and always-growing team in a key position. The team is responsible for coming up with business requirements and then creating the technical design for future trading infrastructure. The team serves as the entry point for any trading activity related to infrastructure. The ideal candidate can work with teammates and troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and assess situations in real time.
You will:
- Responsible for planning maintenance of computing trading infrastructure storage systems, storage networks running in different geo-distributed data centers;
- Perform troubleshooting problems with hardware and virtual trading infrastructure;
- Participates in all aspects of technical research, planning, and documentation for assigned projects and issues;
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability;
- Monitor the capacity and performance of storage and virtualization systems and make recommendations for improvements. Communicate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;
- Understand data protection and disaster recovery technologies in a multi-site environment;
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes;
- Create automation for repeating tasks.
- Be an expert in Hardware servers, virtualization and infrastructure software, helping other teams troubleshoot performance and stability issues, participate in developing infrastructure solutions ensuring reliability and scalability.
What makes you a great fit:
- Experience in development/administration of IT systems 3 years+;
- Experience with vCenter, VMware ESXi, and maintaining the complete VMware lifecycle, including patching, troubleshooting, upgrades, and migrations;
- Solid technical background in a hosted services environment;
- Good understanding of storage technologies, experience in storage capacity planning and maintenance;
- Experience in troubleshooting systems with vendors;
- Experience with fiber channel network based on Brocade equipment;
- Experience with data backup, archive, and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, EmcData Domain, etc).
Nice to have:
- Strong Linux administration experience (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL);
- Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana etc);
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GoogleCloud);
- Experience with scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Ruby, Python);
- Experience with DELL EMC, Lenovo, PureStorage equipment.
- Expertise in virtualization platforms other than VMware
