Responsibilities
- Design and implement new service offerings on a robust cloud foundation.
- Support development teams in utilizing machine learning operations (MLOps).
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of expanding observability infrastructure, staying updated with new technologies.
- Oversee sustainable incident response, blameless postmortems, and production improvements that create business opportunities.
- Collaborate with software development and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and maintain multiple business offerings.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management using modern DevOps tools and practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Manage and secure cloud-based environments (AWS).
- Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout development and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in periodic on-call responsibilities with team members.
- Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps/SRE or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Expertise in container-based technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in infrastructure as code, configuration management tools, and cloud automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of networking and security concepts.
- Experience in defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell.
- Experience in Linux systems administration, scripting, and troubleshooting in a production environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications).
- Experience with microservices and serverless architecture.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana).
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Groovy, and CDK.
