Frontend developer in CANADA

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Front-End Developer for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally looking for experience with Vue.js, Javascript/HTML/CSS, 1+ years experience as a Team Lead, preference would be someone with the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations.

Role Summary

You‘ll be joining a Web Development team.

• Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Align with the team's technical infrastructure using specific programming languages, utilities, build processes, and testing approaches. Contribute to the design and development of cost-effective and robust solutions.
• Leadership skills - Be an authentic leader who is passionate about developing and coaching to bring out the best in people. Direct and organize your team's efforts and help your team be productive by clearing obstacles and unblocking them.

Requirements

• You demonstrate 5+ years experience as a Front End Developer.
• You have 1+ years experience as a Team Lead.
• Good understanding of SPA architecture and commonly used Front End design patterns and fundamentals.
• Knowledge of the following languages - Javascript/HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of a Front End framework - Ideally Vue and/or Ember, but React JS/Angular or other frameworks are fine as well.
• Ideally you have experience with enterprise application development and agile principles
