Computer Vision Engineer in NETHERLANDS

For this exciting scale up company within the industrial automation sector, as a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced vision systems for industrial automation applications. Your primary responsibility will be to develop algorithms and solutions for 3D object detection, recognition, and tracking within complex industrial environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement 3D computer vision algorithms for object detection, recognition, and tracking in dynamic industrial environments.
  • Develop and optimize 3D vision systems using LiDAR, stereo vision, or depth cameras to support automated processes such as sorting, assembly, and quality inspection.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate vision systems with robotic arms, conveyors, and other industrial automation equipment.
  • Work with large-scale industrial datasets to train and validate machine learning models for accurate object detection and classification.
  • Implement real-time vision processing pipelines to support high-speed manufacturing operations.
  • Optimize vision algorithms for performance, accuracy, and reliability in industrial conditions, including handling noise, occlusions, and varying lighting conditions.



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in computer vision, particularly with 3D object detection, recognition, and tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of computer vision frameworks and libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL, ROS, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
  • Hands-on experience with depth sensors, LiDAR, stereo vision cameras, and other 3D imaging technologies.
  • Experience in developing real-time systems for industrial applications.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques for image and 3D data processing.


Salary Package:

  • Up to €90,000
