We are seeking a talented "Data Engineer" in Toronto, Canada to join our team and play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our data processes for campaign management. This is a Full-Time (Permanent) position 100% remote position that requires a collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic insights to enhance the Genuine Optimized Campaign process.
Design and maintain foundational campaign tables in Hive and Snowflake using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Collaborate with teams to capture and assess new data points from VWO via API to evaluate campaign performance.
Support campaign assignments by managing daily updates for new non-compliant users.
Develop databases that align with the Champion/Challenger methodology to strengthen campaign analysis.
Enhance the data infrastructure for seamless automated campaign launches.
Build environments necessary for deploying reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms to oversee campaign management.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field.
At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on decision-making and problem-solving rooted in analytics.
Proficiency in Python and SQL with 3+ years of experience; skilled in data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions with strong quantitative and conceptual thinking abilities.
Excellent business acumen, leadership, and a balanced approach to driving results.
Experience with AWS and advanced skills in Spark/PySpark coding.
Working knowledge of Airflow for effective workflow management.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and drive alignment.
