Lead Quality Assurance Engineer in CYPRUS

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Engineer to take ownership of our testing processes, ensuring high-quality standards across all features. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing a robust testing framework, covering all possible scenarios to verify that our product functions seamlessly. Your primary focus will be on setting up and maintaining thorough test cases, working closely with our development and product teams to catch and address issues early. Additionally, you’ll assist in creating user-friendly documentation to support internal teams and enhance product clarity. This role offers remote flexibility, with the option to relocate to our offices in Cyprus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a structured testing framework to ensure comprehensive coverage across all possible scenarios.
• Design, write, and execute test plans and test cases to validate software features, functionality, and performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that previously resolved issues remain fixed and new features do not introduce unintended side effects.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing to thoroughly assess product quality.
• Monitor and report on test results, providing detailed feedback to the development team and stakeholders.
• Work closely with development, product, and support teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and areas of risk.
• Act as a quality advocate within the team, promoting best practices for high-quality software development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a QA or Software Testing role.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices for web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey issues and feedback effectively to development and product teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the QA process.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a SaaS or product-driven company.
