An Agile payments startup with an office in Austin are seeking a Fullstack Web Developer with extensive experience in backend development, system design, and a strong commitment to security to join their team.
This position requires a thorough understanding of modern web technologies and a focus on data protection. The ideal candidate will excel at building robust, scalable, and secure web applications. Key competencies include expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js, along with a solid foundation in database management and security principles.
Key Responsibilities of the Fullstack Web Developer:
- Design and implement system infrastructure and databases that support website functionality and facilitate future growth.
- Integrate payment processing solutions, with a primary focus on Stripe for handling payments and subscriptions.
- Develop comprehensive tests for infrastructure and APIs to ensure high-quality code and secure environments.
- Create and manage both private and public APIs for internal and external applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MDX, effectively transforming static Markdown into dynamic front-end content with interactive features.
- Generate and maintain documentation covering backend architecture, data structures, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues while providing necessary technical support.
Required Technical Skills of the Fullstack Web Developer:
- Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with server-side rendering and serverless architectures.
- Experience in database management, particularly with SQL and SQLite.
- Strong understanding of data security principles and practices.
- Capability to write tests for infrastructure and APIs.
Qualifications of the Fullstack Web Developer:
- Minimum of 5 years of web development experience, emphasizing React and TypeScript.
