Are you a skilled business analyst with a passion for e-commerce? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst specializing in the e-commerce domain. You'll play a crucial role in understanding, documenting, and improving our company's business processes.
One of GTT Digital's growing clients is in need of a Senior Business Analyst with extensive eCommerce experience to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for BRDs, Process Mapping, and Technical strategy around their eCommerce entities. This will be a 6-month contract to start, with the opportunity to either convert to full-time employment or extend as a long-term contractor within this team. Responsibilities:
Process Analysis: Understand, document, and improve company-wide business processes in the e-commerce and omnichannel space.
Requirements Gathering: Analyze, validate, formalize, and communicate business stakeholder requirements.
Impact Assessment: Assess upstream and downstream implications of proposed changes on systems and processes.
Optimization: Provide recommendations for optimizing systems, applications, and business processes.
Project Management: Contribute to project monitoring by identifying key milestones, phases, and acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a liaison between stakeholders, product teams, and development teams.
Agile Methodology: Assist product teams with creating and prioritizing user stories and defect reports, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Implementation Support: Assist and coach business users during the implementation and hypercare phases.
Testing: Contribute to the definition of test strategies and scenarios, and support test execution with the QA team and stakeholders.
Maintenance Support: Provide L2 support and contribute to error triaging exercises.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Business Analyst in the DTC (direct-to-customer) business domain with a strong focus on e-commerce.
Deep understanding of standard processes, models, and KPIs related to omnichannel, e-commerce, and retail channels.
Strong familiarity with e-commerce adjacent processes such as content management, product lifecycle management, order management, inventory management, and fulfillment.
Experience in technology-oriented roles, digital transformation initiatives, or similar.
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Relevant education in Business Analysis or equivalent work experience is an asset.
