Role & Responsibilities:
• Operational Support and Infrastructure Management.
• Incident handling and troubleshooting.
• Service Requests and Change Requests handling.
• Infrastructure optimization and Right sizing.
• Infrastructure Deployment and Configuration.
• Capacity and Performance analysis and optimization.
• Patching and Upgrade.
• Continuous Improvement and Cost Optimization.
• Root Cause Analysis.
• User Account Management.
• Update storage infrastructure design and architecture documents.
• Physical installation of Storage devices, software installation, and installation of management tools.
• Vendor hardware compatibility list (HCL) review, notification, and compliance.
• Manage lifecycle of storage hardware and software.
• Patch management and hardening of storage software and management tools.
• Planning and scheduling of upgrades and patches.
• Planning and execution of release activities for storage environments
• Perform interoperability testing and ensure compliance with vendor best practices.
• Perform monthly inventory testing and reporting for storage systems.
• Support, plan, coordinate and manage maintenance activities for storage infrastructure.
• Plan, support, and coordinate installation and decommissioning of physical hardware.
Requirements:
• Good command of:
• NetApp OnCommand Active IQ Unified Manager, NetApp Cloud Insights.
• IBM Storage Insights, IBM Spectrum Control.
• Huawei System Reporter, Huawei eService, SmartKit.
• Brocade SANNav, Brocade Support Link (BSL).
• automation with RedHat Ansible.
• ITIL- certification preferred.
• documentation and presentation skills.
Required certification one of:
• NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)
• IBM Virtualized Storage V2 Certification
• IBM Enterprise Storage Technical Support V5 Certification
• Huawei - HCNA-Storage-BSSN and Huawei - HCIE-Storage
