A European IT company, which has been creating software products of any level of complexity for more than 15 years, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who will play a connecting role between business units and data teams to support decision-making using the ThoughtSpot platform.
The company is primarily working with American and European partners and clients. They handle various projects across different sectors, including banking, e-commerce, and more. The company develops custom software projects.
The company's head office is located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. There are also offices in Bulgaria. You are offered completely remote cooperation with the ability to work from anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business data
Create data models and visualizations using ThoughtSpot
Identify areas for improvement in business processes
Implement and optimize ThoughtSpot solutions
Train and support end users in self-service analytics
Develop dashboards and reports to track key metrics
Ensure data quality and consistency
Assist in defining data processing strategies and analytical roadmaps
Monitor analytical tool performance
Communicate data concepts clearly
Provide ongoing support for BI and analytics needs
Requirements
3+ years of experience in business or BI analysis
Hands-on experience with ThoughtSpot
Strong SQL skills and data analysis experience
Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines
English B2+
Preferred:
Agile experience and project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Data visualization, dashboards, and reporting experience
Knowledge of data security and compliance practices
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
