Data Engineer – SQL / Power BI / Azure Synapse

Role – Data Engineer

Salary – £35k - £50k DOE

Location – Fully Remote - London HQ

Due to ongoing success, a key client of mine is going through an expansion and are now looking to add a Data Engineer to the team as they undergo a technology transformation to the cloud. This is a fully remote position, but you must be UK based. They are looking for someone that is eager to grow and develop their career working closely with senior members of the team.

You will be working to assist with the end to end data engineering process. Extracting data from on prem servers and transforming it into Azure, utilising Power BI to visualise it.

The position is offering a basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience as well as, 23-day annual leave, a generous pension and much more;

The successful Data Engineer will have experience of the following:

• High proficiency of working with SQL
• Experience of working with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
• Solid understanding and experience of Data Visualisation working with Power BI and DAX
• Experience in working closely and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Have the ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

Desirable skills:

• Certified in Microsoft Data Engineering or Power BI
• Python knowledge

Again, with a salary on offer of between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, this position would be ideal for a Data Engineer with a couple of years experience looking to continue to learn and develop working on a forward thinking project.
