We are currently searching for a OT Architect (Time Series & Rich Media):

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions to ingest, contextualize, curate, and expose time series data, rich media, and unstructured content using Azure services.
  • Establish technical standards and ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity guardrails.
  • Implement and manage IoT Hub, EventHubs, EventGrids, Azure Data Explorer, and cloud-based storage (Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Data Lake).
  • Create and maintain data pipelines with tools like Azure Media Streaming, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
  • Apply modern application development principles (DevOps, OAuth, RESTful APIs) and data management practices, including governance, metadata, and data modeling.
  • Own technical decisions and align them with business strategies and portfolio investments.
  • Ensure quality technical delivery and reduce technical debt while driving modernization initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and promote best practices like automation, scalability, and modularity.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of overall experience as a Technical Architect and Engineer.
  • Expertise with Azure services, including IoT Hub, EventHubs, EventGrids, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Storage, and Data Lake.
  • Experience with data pipelining and tools such as Azure Media Streaming, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of modern development practices, including DevOps and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with data management, governance principles, and complex data types.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
