Python Developer (Support) in SERBIA

We're Social Links, a leading global OSINT company headquartered in the US. We integrate data from over 500 open sources, including social media, messengers, blockchains, and the Dark Web, to provide comprehensive visualisation and analysis for efficient investigations.

We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Python Developer (Support Team) to join our dynamic team!

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of existing parsing services, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
• Backend application development (Billing and other internal services)
• Development of web parsers and crawlers
• Writing project documentation
• Participation in the selection of technologies and tools
• Participation in architectural decision-making
• Collaboration with other developers, product teams, Customer Success Team, Customer Support Team

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of experience with Python using libraries and frameworks such as requests, aiohttp, celery, BS4, Django, FastAPI, Flask
• At least 2 years of experience writing REST APIs
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright
• Working with the Django Templates
• Knowledge of the HTTP protocol (GET, POST, etc., headers, cookies) and using HTTP/SOCKS5 proxies when working with it
• Analyzing network requests using Dev Tools
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) / NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Confident working with regular expressions
• Experience debugging applications and finding errors
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka
• Proficient in Git
• Network request analysis using tools such as Dev Tools, Fiddler, Burp Suite
• Excellent oral and written skills in English and Russian

Would be a plus:

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Rancher
• Experience with Elasticsearch, working with full-text queries, selecting appropriate indices, query optimization
• Knowledge of JSON and XML
• Proficiency with regular expressions
• Working with APIs (Insomnia/Postman)
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus
• Knowledge of reverse engineering
• Knowledge of other programming languages: Go, PHP, JS, etc.
