Senior Space Electronics Designer – Onsite – Relocation Available in CANADA

We’re looking for a dynamic Space Electronics Designer to join our team in Québec (or relocate and start an exciting adventure).

What You’ll Do:

• Design electronic circuits (both digital and analog) for space projects 🚀
• Develop embedded software (microcontroller, FPGA) and test programs (Python)
• Select the best electronic components for space missions 🌍
• Write technical documentation, reports, and test plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews
• Collaborate with teams to optimize component performance in space-related environments
• Work on space payload design 🌌

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Electronics, Robotics, or related fields (TSO preferred)
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in electronics design
• Proficiency in Python for test software (bonus if you know C/C++ for microcontrollers)
• Advanced knowledge of VHDL programming (nice to have)
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in French and English (most internal communication is in French, but English is needed for external communication)
• Familiarity with tools like Altium Designer, Pspice, and Matlab

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working in space projects 🌌
• Knowledge of radiation effects on components
• Experience with heat dispersion and optimizing component lifespan
• Familiarity with Scrum project management methodologies
