Network Engineer in UNITED KINGDOM

NETWORK ENGINEER- REMOTE (ONCE A MONTH IN COVENTRY) - EDUCATION/SAAS - UP TO £50K

Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking to work with a business heavily investing in improving infrastructure? How about doing it whilst working on something that supports local communities and young people across the country?

We’re working with a leading SaaS specialising in supporting schools and young people across the country. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support their existing team.

What they’re looking for in you?

• Provide escalated support for internal customers within the Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Maintain stability, implement improvements, and manage changes to internal and production networks.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Cisco Networking to uphold SLA targets for systems and customers.
• Give precedence to a security-first approach, resolving vulnerabilities within agreed SLAs.

Tech Wise, they would love people with:

• Strong Cisco Networking skills using tools such as Switches, ASA’s, Firepower
• Experience with configuration and deployment of Firewalls
• Network monitoring software experience with tools such as, Solarwinds, PRTG, Logic Monitor
