This role is a full-time remote position, and you’re free to work from anywhere. Be advised that most team meetings occur between 6:30 am and 10:00 am Pacific Time (UTC-8/-7). About The Role
Phi Labs is seeking a talented and motivated Developer Relations Lead with experience in web 3.0. You will be leading up to 6 engineers across developer documentation, dapp tooling, and building developer education initiatives. Your responsibility will be to support 3rd party dapp developers and their pursuit to build archway based dApps.
DevRel Team
This team is growing rapidly and we need this leader to help us gear up for Mainnet launch (scheduled for EOY).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a global team of developer advocates and technical educators to build an active, loyal, and passionate technical community
- Lead and work autonomously guiding projects and managing DevRel efforts
- Mentor junior team members and communicate outside the department
- Know and teach best practices that make a developer's life easier
- Work closely with engineering and product managers to identify campaigns and opportunities
- Define and own metrics to measure the success of our developer content and outreach efforts
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer education, and technical writing
- Proficiency in any JSON RPC/Open RPC. Node/NPM, TypeScript
- Experience working on open source libraries
- Have a working knowledge of developer tools like SDKs and APIs
- Experience in writing code samples, demos, or tutorials
- Proficiency with GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same
- Experience "cold-starting" developer ecosystems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Lead discussions with product and design to rapidly iterate, experiment and launch products
- Design and build systems with an eye for performance & scalability
- Own products end to end and work across the stack as needed, including backend, infrastructure, UI, testing, etc - Mentor team members on engineering best practices and career development
