Our multibillion-dollar client company has more than 30 business units with operations in 40 countries and are embarking on a significant digital transformation.
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant with extensive experience in ThoughtSpot, TML, SQL, and either Tableau or Power BI.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant experience, including proficiency in dashboard design, data warehousing, data modelling, and data governance.
This role will involve close collaboration with the analytics team to develop and implement BI solutions that support business decision-making.
Preference will be given to candidates already in Kuwait, however full relocation package assistance can be provided for candidates keen on relocating. Ideally previous experiences of working within Automotive, Manufacturing, Retail and F&B industries will be advantageous.
Key responsibilities to be successful:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- ThoughtSpot Utilization: Use ThoughtSpot to create, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports.
- BI Tool Development: Manage and develop dashboards and reports using either Tableau or Power BI.
- SQL Proficiency: Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from diverse databases.
- Data Warehousing: Design, implement, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support BI efforts.
- Data Modeling: Develop and sustain data models to ensure data integrity and optimize performance.
- Cloud Data Platforms: Work with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
- Data Governance Implementation: Establish and uphold data governance practices using ThoughtSpot.
- Data Integration: Combine data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive insights.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance BI solutions for improved performance and scalability.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of BI solutions, data models, and data workflows.
Required qualifications to be successful:
- Experience: At least 7 years in ThoughtSpot and either Tableau or Power BI.
- Dashboard Design: Experience in designing dashboards using Figma or similar UI/UX tools.
- AI Proficiency: Expertise in ThoughtSpot and TML (ThoughtSpot Modeling Language).
- BI Tool Expertise: Strong skills in either Tableau or Power BI, including:
- Tableau: Dashboard design, development, integration, and server maintenance.
- Power BI: Dashboard design, development, integration, DAX queries, and server/gateway maintenance.
- SQL Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Data Governance: Experience in implementing data governance practices with ThoughtSpot.
- Data Warehousing Expertise: Strong background in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions.
- Data Modelling Knowledge: Proficient in data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
