PHP Developer in EUROPEAN UNION

We are seeking a dynamic professional for a fully remote, 12-month fixed-term contract.


The Role:

You will be responsible for integrating client websites into our enterprise-level content management system using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, you will develop and maintain PHP modules utilized across multiple client sites.


As a member of our Professional Services department, you will collaborate closely with a team of Analysts, Project Managers, and Web Developers. This is a client-facing role, making strong communication skills essential. It’s a unique opportunity to work on large-scale projects, expand your expertise, and grow alongside an innovative team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality CMS-driven websites from detailed functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients and Project Managers to deliver outstanding website designs and timely project outcomes.
  • Develop maintainable, reusable PHP applications to meet client needs, including comprehensive code testing.
  • Partner with our Implementation Analysts to estimate, design, develop, and implement project solutions.
  • Support the maintenance, development, and documentation of our PHP modules and serverless applications.



Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • Experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop project specifications.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adept at meeting tight deadlines in a project-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.



Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with Unit Testing frameworks (e.g., PHP Unit, Jest).
  • Solid understanding of Node.js.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Proficiency with GIT workflows.
