We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Product Team Lead to join our team and help steer our product development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Job Overview

As the Product Team Lead, you will oversee a team of product managers, developers, and designers. You will drive product strategy, development, and execution, ensuring that the team delivers products that meet customer needs while aligning with the company’s business objectives. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, working closely with leadership to shape the future of the company’s offerings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage the Product Team: Oversee and mentor a team of product managers, designers, and engineers, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery of product goals.
  • Product Strategy Development: Develop and implement the product vision and strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Own and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring it is well-prioritized and aligned with the company’s goals and customer needs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and execution.
  • Customer Insights & Feedback: Regularly engage with customers to gather insights and feedback to refine product features and improve the overall user experience.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Monitor product performance and use data-driven insights to optimize existing products and drive continuous improvement.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor offerings, and technology advancements to keep our product offerings competitive.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the product team and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all departments.


Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a tech environment, preferably in a startup.
  • Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of product development processes and software development life cycles.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using data and analytics tools to make informed decisions and optimize product performance.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and tactically.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with changing priorities.


Desirable

  • Experience in the Fin-Tech Industry.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.


Relocation

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Bolton, Manchester, UK. A competitive relocation package will be provided, which includes visa sponsorship (if applicable), housing assistance, and onboarding support to ensure a smooth transition to the UK.
