Job Title: Database Administrator (NoSQL)

Location: Ukraine (Fully remote)

Job Type: Full-time (40 h/week)


Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer specializing in NoSQL databases to manage and optimize our NoSQL database ecosystem. The successful candidate will ensure our databases are online, secure, appropriately sized, and equipped with robust HA/DR solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain NoSQL databases, primarily Cassandra in both public and private cloud environments.
  • Ensure databases are secure, highly available, and right-sized to meet performance needs.
  • Implement and manage HA/DR solutions to guarantee data integrity and availability.


Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in managing Cassandra databases in cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of database security, performance tuning, and HA/DR strategies.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with other NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch, is highly valued.
