I am currently working with a leading Telecommunications client that are seeking a Puppet Engineer/Puppet Developer.
Evaluate existing Puppet infrastructure and automation processes
Develop and deploy Puppet automation scripts, manifests etc. to achieve automation as per the requirement.
Identify gaps & challenges and propose solutions to fix and optimize the processes.
Establish overall processes & practices for development, build, deployment, operations and monitoring the day-to-day functioning of the deployment
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development and operations teams and other stakeholders like product owners, quality assurance engineers, business analysts, etc.
Ensure that the Puppet development/automation process and operations are aligned with the business requirements and objectives.
Implement a system for smooth sharing of feedback, information, knowledge, and best practices among different teams and departments.
Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, improvement, and innovation to continuously keep the environment optimized for peak operational efficiency.
