Responsibilities:
Peer review code from external developers, ensuring industry best practices and internal coding standards are met.
Document areas for improvement and provide feedback to external contractor companies and internal leadership to maintain consistent standards.
Build rapport with contractor companies, monitor their training efforts, and report on progress.
Assess external developers' skill levels, considering their role, learning capability, and fit for our development team.
Collaborate with Application Development Managers and Architects to identify opportunities for improving code standards.
Communicate with Code Owners to address their concerns and provide feedback to external vendors.
