Digital Waffle is proud to be working with an exciting international company, looking for their next Head of Artificial Intelligence, who will build and lead a talented team in developing visionary AI-driven web3 products for consumers and businesses, whilst working from anywhere in the world.

You'll play an active role in defining and executing their AI strategy, and be instrumental in building innovative products and bringing them to market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute AI strategy in collaboration with leadership
• Build and lead an AI team from scratch
• Design AI architectures, conduct experiments, and ensure product feasibility
• Communicate complex AI concepts effectively to various stakeholders
• Develop AI solutions for web2 and web3 challenges using large datasets
• Oversee AI project lifecycle from inception to business impact
• Continuously improve their existing AI models and algorithms

Requirements

• Degree in AI, ML, or related field
• 10+ years of software development and leadership experience
• Proven track record in AI-driven product development (e.g., recommender systems, search, AdTech)
• Strong team management and mentorship skills
• Expertise in LLMs, deep learning (PyTorch), and MLOps
• Cloud architecture proficiency (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a security focus
• Knowledge of latest AI research and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills

Bonus Experience

• MLOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tool experience
• ML team founding experience
• Experience working in the crypto/web3 industry
• Founded a ML team/department
• Experience working with compliance or legal teams
