About the Role
As our Java Cloud Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud infrastructure development, leveraging your expertise in Terraform and Azure DevOps to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate IT product requirements into efficient Terraform solutions, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze IT product requirements and translate them into comprehensive Terraform solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT product infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Terraform modules provided by Technology Services colleagues
- Prioritize reliability, security, and scalability while adhering to established best practices
- Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain Terraform code and YAML pipelines
- Liaise with Technology Services teams to address infrastructure issues and ensure consistency across platform components
What You'll Bring
- Strong knowledge of Java
- Proven experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources as modules
- Expertise in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, with experience in setting up and maintaining YAML-based pipelines
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
