Critical role in maintaining and repairing MOVPE/MOCVD epitaxy equipment to minimize production downtime
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance planning and coordinate with Manufacturing and Process teams to minimize equipment downtime
Oversee equipment improvements, upgrades, and installations while providing technical input for new tool procurement and commissioning
Troubleshoot and repair MOVPE and associated equipment, including phosphorous-trap and gas cylinder changes using SCBA (training provided)
Develop and deliver preventative maintenance strategies to maximize equipment utilization and uptime
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and field service engineers to resolve equipment issues and manage spares inventory
Provide technical direction to Shift Technicians on safety, procedures, and best practices in a cleanroom environment
Support shutdown activities and assist with logistics projects like equipment relocation and cleanroom reorganisation
Adhere to all site safety and environmental procedures, including emergency response functions
Technical Skills Required
Semiconductor Epitaxy Engineering (MOVPE/MOCVD) Vacuum Systems (Hi-Vac principles, pumps, leak-checking) PLC Programming and Electrical Engineering (low/high-voltage)
