Key Responsibilities
Lead integration of engines, intakes, fuel systems, and electrical generation into the aircraft platform
Define and manage all aircraft-powerplant interface requirements, coordinating with engine manufacturers and suppliers
Support development of powerplant architecture, installation concepts, and compliance plans for certification
Evaluate installation impacts on aircraft performance, operability, maintainability, and certification
Develop and maintain powerplant system requirements, interface control documents, and certification documentation
Coordinate with structures, stress, and aerodynamics teams on engine mounts, pylons, nacelles, and installation loads
Participate in system safety assessments, failure analyses, and risk evaluations
Develop ground and flight test requirements for powerplant systems
Stay updated on industry advancements and drive rulemaking in relevant forums
