About the Project:
ScrumLaunch is a software development company supporting fast-growing US startups across various industries. With locations in Los Angeles, CA, and Portland, OR, the company is looking to hire a Product Manager / Owner with experience as a Project Manager as well to play a crucial role in onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and clients, and defining processes to drive company growth.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the company founders and software team leaders. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for continuous learning and professional development. Responsibilities:
- Initiate new Product and implement efficient project management processes;
- Identify Product needs by interviewing project stakeholders;
- Create project and task requirements;
- Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Managing/ prioritizing the project backlog;
- Market research and competitive analysis;
- Project team management (Design, Development, QA);
- Contribute to improving PM processes for ongoing projects;
- Balance project scope and timeline to deliver optimal solutions;
- Resolve issues and conflicts effectively;
- Be available to communicate with customers in PST/EST time zones;
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective people management;
- Meet and exceed client expectations;
- Onboard and train new team members.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Software development (Web & Mobile projects);
- Business-oriented person with a mindset suited to product management;
- Practical knowledge in Scrum, Kanban, and eXtreme Programming (XP);
- Strong background in developing project workflows;
- Experience in project estimation and task prioritization under tight deadlines;
- Proficiency in Web and Mobile technologies;
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, JIRA, etc.;
- Advanced English proficiency;
- Be available to communicate with customers in PST/EST time zones.
