About The Role
As a Product Analyst II at Checkr, you will play a vital role within the Data Platform organization, collaborating closely with multiple business units to develop sophisticated models that drive strategic decision-making. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and communicate these findings effectively across all levels of the organization, including non-technical stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Head of Data Platform, you will work in partnership with Product, Financial Planning & Strategy, Data Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Your expertise will help unlock the potential of data assets, support product enhancements, and foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key business metrics such as efficiency, quality, and monetization strategies, ensuring Checkr maintains its leadership position in the industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a highly analytical role, with at least 1 year in product analytics or data science
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with a strong understanding of data warehouse principles and data modeling; experience with dbt is a plus
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities through data and experimentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong bias for action, resilience in ambiguity, and ownership of outcomes
- Experience with creating customer profiles, developing metrics for pricing and monetization, and enabling self-serve data models for stakeholders
- Familiarity with data modeling tools and principles, and a passion for fostering a data-driven culture through experimentation and education

- Partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand product features, customer needs, and strategic objectives
