# Web Developer

The Web Developer will join the Marketing Digital team as the primary backend developer supporting veeva.com and other Marketing-supported websites. This role requires advanced PHP and WordPress expertise and involves building functional features and integrations, developing enterprise-level WordPress solutions, and contributing to site architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
## Key Responsibilities
* Develop custom website features to meet stakeholder needs.
* Build enterprise-level WordPress plugins and themes using PHP, Gutenberg blocks, and React.js.
* Develop integrations with internal and external systems through APIs.
* Determine technical direction and make decisions about custom development versus community-contributed code.
* Apply strong security practices to delivered code.
* Debug websites across a wide range of browsers and devices.
* Apply WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript best practices across projects.
* Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable website architectures.
* Design and maintain systems for website updates with thorough testing and quality assurance.

## Compensation & Benefits
**Base Pay:** $95,000 - $135,000
Actual salaries may vary within the range above or below based on experience and location. Compensation is determined based on individual qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
