PowerBI Engineer in OHIO METROPOLITAN AREA

Agility Partners is looking for a Power BI Developer who will play an active role in the Data Modernization project moving most of our retail client's Corporate Analytics to Power BI while participating in the Corporate Data Governance effort leading strategy and implementation.

In this role, you will:

• Team up with the engineering teams, Business Analysis project members, and business partners to design and develop new Snowflake Views and Power BI objects including Dashboards, Reporting, and Apps among others.
• Provide technical requirements for implementation of Snowflake and Power BI objects
• Learn and support current on prem BI tools and processes while migrating to new Cloud tools
• Work with Project Management to communicate timely estimates, updates, project status, and lead communication to project participants
• Work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
• Document and establish standards for best practices

The Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years in a Power BI development role
• 3+ years of experience developing database objects and views optimized for reporting
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Strong understanding of data management principles
• Strong expertise with DAX and SQL
• Ability to identify usage scenarios and patterns for BI solution
