## About the Role


Lumenalta is seeking a **Senior Backend Engineer (AWS)** to design and implement robust backend systems that are secure, scalable, efficient, and high-performing. This role focuses on **Python backend development, AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, logging, automation, and cloud-native applications**.


You will collaborate closely with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to deliver reliable applications and infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes, a focus on automation and optimization, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in cross-functional environments.


## Key Responsibilities


- Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems using **Python**.

- Integrate backend services with **AWS cloud services**.

- Design and deploy scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using services including **EC2, Lambda, RDS, and S3**.

- Manage containerized applications using **Kubernetes**, including scaling, load balancing, and orchestration.
