Senior Native Application Developer in LATIN AMERICA

WHO YOU ARE

You’re a Mobile App Developer with specific experience building Android applications.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web and mobile applications using both React Native and Kotlin.
• Work with AWS services such as Amplify, AppSync, Lambda, and Cognito
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead and contribute to the establishment of coding patterns and best practices
• Enforce coding standards and perform thorough code reviews during pull requests
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the React Native and Kotlin communities
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner

POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a focus on Native Application development
• Strong proficiency in React Native and Kotlin
• 2+ years of experience working with AWS Amplify or another GraphQL implementation
• Solid understanding of modern software development principles, methodologies, and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Prior experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developers
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment and effectively manage time and tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of TypeScript or other strongly typed languages
