Global Network Engineer
GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION
Provide support of global network services and technologies to meet business requirements. Primary objective is to assist and maintain network related issues.
Work Schedule:
Full Remote position. 9 working hours per day (Usually 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday –Friday). As the network is required for business activities, the position requires 24x7x365 global on-call support to address business critical application availability and performance problems. The role requires flexibility to participate in phone or video calls to address critical business issues outside of local business hours.
Job Description
1. Install network hardware, rack mount, and install IOS software as directed.
2. Assist with 3rd party access for support activities.
3. Patch network software IOS as directed.
4. Maintain network redundancy for business.
5. Assist with local audits.
6. Assist with documentation for network asset tracking.
7. Validate network software license quantities are complying.
8. Identify & share new technologies.
9. Coordinate all outages and upgrades
10. Primary contact for local network issues and provides initial support (L1) for all network related tickets.
11. Provide advance support (L2 and L3) for all network-related tickets.
Key Qualifications
· Very strong experience in CISCO Routing and Switching (MUST) - CISCO CCNA R&S Certification are preferred.
· 2+ years’ experience in Networking.
· Advanced knowledge of designing, implementation and troubleshooting Cisco network appliances
· Strong verbal and written communication skills both Spanish and English. (MUST).
