Job Description
Our mission
At Kamoa, we are building Africa's digital financial infrastructure to connect banks, telecom operators, and platforms with the data and technology they need to serve more people. We believe that cutting-edge, data-powered technology is the key to financial access and education in emerging markets. Our vision is to redefine financial inclusion through innovative tech products that are seamless and perfectly adapted to local usage.
Your responsibilitiesAs a Product Marketing Manager, you sit at the intersection of Product, Sales, and our customers—both B2B partners and B2C end-users. You own how our financial products are communicated. You don't just write strategy decks—you execute, measure impact, and iterate.
Market insights & User research
- You conduct deep user research, talking directly to B2B and B2C users to understand local financial nuances, pain points, and opportunities across target markets.
- You analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to ensure our product positioning remains sharp and relevant.
Go-to-market (GTM) ownership
- You define positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for new product features and expansions.
- You ensure seamless, high-impact rollouts by coordinating across teams.
Product messaging & Content
- You translate complex financial tech/infrastructure into clear, compelling narratives for user onboarding, product copy, and growth campaigns.
- You produce high-quality marketing collateral, including case studies, product guides, and sales enablement materials.

Data-driven growth
- You partner with Product and Data teams to track conversion, engagement, and retention metrics.

Cross-functional synergy
- You work closely with BD and Sales leads to equip them with the messaging and tools they need to convert partners.
- You act as the voice of the market within the internal product development team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. We aren't strict on the major, as long as you have a strong head for numbers and problem-solving.
- Experience: 3+ years in a role where you regularly use numbers to make decisions or understand behavior. Whether your background is in basic analytics, operations, business analysis, or a customer-facing metrics role, we want someone who uses data to tell a story.
- Market Literacy: Deep understanding of digital payments, financial access, and consumer dynamics in Central Africa.
- Language skills: Fluent proficiency in French compulsory. Working proficiency in English is a big plus.
- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data to inform marketing decisions. SQL proficiency needed; Mixpanel experience is a plus.
- Craft & Quality: Meticulous attention to detail in copywriting and user experience touchpoints.

- You have extreme ownership: You take full accountability for launch performance— learning from failures and doubling down on successes.
- You are analytical: You seek to understand what the metrics reveal about product adoption, not just to report them.
- You are collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments, ensuring that Product and Sales are perfectly aligned.
- Location: Brazzaville
- Compensation and benefits: Competitive salary, flexible leave policy, relocation package and professional development opportunities within a rapidly growing pan-African fintech.
