Global Cloud Architect in GERMANY

We are partnered with a leading Life-science business who are changing the world by improving patient and medical professionals experiences and outcomes. They are building a brand-new on premise/cloud agnostic digital platform which will run across hospitals & for health care providers worldwide.

This Global Cloud Architect will be hired to help bring this to platform to life building it from conception stage up to full production. Please apply to be submitted.

What you will do in this role:

Positively impact patients worldwide.

• Build a digital platform for hospitals worldwide which will run on premise and cloud agnostic.
• This platform will also be used on hand-held mobile devices.
• Oversee all aspects of the architecture including defining the roadmap, designing the architecture, and executing this from A-Z.
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company worldwide.
• Have the creative freedom to select the most optimal tools for the task.
• Build a platform which will contain regulated and sensitive medical/patient history.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes moving local services to the cloud.
• Expert knowledge of containers using tools such as Docker etc.
• You have previously built similar systems. If you have built out systems within the medical device industry especially which operates with medical images this is a huge plus.
• Familiar with workflow engines to build up systems with tools such as Argo.
• You must have great communication skills to work alongside an international team and exchange information.
• Previous stakeholder management is crucial for this role.
• You hold no secrets with open-source and vendor provided technologies.
• You know how to handle open source in regulated environments.
• Fluency in English is essential for this role.

Nice to haves:

• You have previously built medical imagery systems from the ground up.
• A background with handheld / Mobile applications.
• An understanding of Networking.
• Interest in development/scripting.
